Holy Moly! Talk about book hangover!
I can barely articulate the words for this review. Kandi Steiner has totally blown me away, her best book to date!
I recently have been in a reading slump, just reading fluff romance because nothing was grabbing my attention. However once I started this book, I was unable to put it down. The emotions filtered though the characters in this book are unreal. The way Ms. Steiner wrote Natalie's character had me crying for the lost little girl, I loved how she was able to overcome her insecurities and blossom into a beautiful woman.
And Rhodes! What an unique twist! The pain and sorrow you feel for him is overwhelming, you'll cry for him one page, but want to smack him by the next page. He is a beautifully complicated character.
Kandi Steiner has truly transformed into an amazing writer. Her twists in this book will literally give you whiplash (but in a good way), and have wanting to throw your Kindle against the nearest wall.
While I was sad to finish this book, I can't help but hope Ms Steiner continues to write books like this one. She is truly a gifted writer, and her confidence in writing grows more with each book.
