F*ck of the Irish (The Hard and Dirty Holidays) by Celia Aaron

ARC provided by publisher for honest review.

This is the first book that I had read by Celia Aaron, and I addicted. Her writing is much like Alexa Riley, but not quite as risque. I have a total obsession for the I must claim you as mine books. Celia Aaron delivers on that with this book.

I enjoyed this book as it had just a little bit of a plot to keep me entertained. The chemistry between Laurel and Eamon was HOT! It's the kind that makes a girl jealous and hopeful that some day she can find a man that can do the same to her.

In my honest opinion, read this at bedtime. It's just the right length of a book to give you happy dreams.

His Kind of Cowgirl by Karen Rock

ARC provided by NetGalley for honest review.

This is the first book I have read by Karen Rock and I enjoyed this book.

There is something about a good cowboy romance that just makes me happy. This book was a quick easy read. I like how the author depicted the character, however I wasn't a fan of Clair. I never understood why authors feel the need to have the women keep something important from the man. I know that they do it for the plot, but man it drives me crazy. Tanner, man I love that name, just the description of him drives me crazy. He sounds like the ideal man if your into the spurs and rodeo thing.

This book is just what I needed to clean my book palate.

AP - Synopsis.jpg

1. Don’t sleep around.

2. Don’t kiss and tell.

3. Be nice.

4. Don’t text or call.

5. Don’t fall in love.

The rules were simple...until they weren't.

I have everything I ever thought I would want: a nice home, a job I love, two beautiful girls, and my husband, Gabe - my high school sweetheart who still rocks my world. If you ask anyone to describe me they would say, "Oh, Mirella? She's such a nice girl." And that’s true...until a mysterious, peculiar man and his beautiful wife enter our lives.

Weston and Bridget Hanson are no ordinary couple—they’re stunning, enigmatic, and sexy as hell. During the course of one unexpected evening, my ordinary world is turned upside down. How could it not be when Weston and Bridget propose the unthinkable? And when the unthinkable is so very tempting, giving in becomes inevitable.

It sounds so logical and simple. Just five rules and we can all have what we desire. But the heart doesn't follow rules, and now passion, jealousy, and confusion threaten to tear everything apart.

Two beautiful couples. Five simple rules. One hot mess.

AP - about the author.jpg

Mom, writer, book junkie, doodle addict and hopeless romantic. I have been writing for over ten years, finding my passion for romance in 2008. When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, painting, and writing - there is nothing I enjoy more than sitting down at my laptop and making up my own stories - and if those stories should include beautiful men, a little romance, and a few steamy scenes, all the better!

I write contemporary and erotic romance under the pen name Roya Carmen.

Game On by Katie McCoy

I absolutely love HEA books like this. You know where the guy has to basically come crawling back because hes and idiot and didn't let the girl tell her side of the story. Yeah that was Nathan in this book, but he does redeem himself in the end and earns a spot on the book boyfriend list.

This story follows Sophie Hall an inexperienced journalist who is tasked to get a story from Nathan Ryder a college baseball player who is about to be drafted. I don't know a lot about baseball other than I find it incredibly boring to watch, but after reading this book, I may want to re-evaluate that decision. Especially if they show the warm ups. I mean come on who wouldn't want to watch grown men in tight uniforms stretch? Sign me up!

The Striker's Chance by Rebecca Crowley

Ok so I technically didn't read this book, but I did listen to the Audible version of it, and for some unknown reason it had me tearing up with my favorite ice cream.

Jessica Almacy did a phenomenal job as narrator and her voice wasn't too whiny. It was nice I have a hard time finding female narrators with beautiful voices. The only complaint I had was Holly's voice. Almost like Ms Almacy was trying too hard and the accent came across as fake. now Kepler's voice was hands down the hottest voice from a woman I have heard in a long time.

with all that being said I can't wait to read more from Rebecca Crowley and I believe I might even start looking for some more soccer books.

Lennox (Ride or Die #1) by Dallas Cole

Look out Colton Donavan there is a new racer in town, and his name is Lennox.

Lennox is Dallas Cole’s debut novel, and I am a fan. What a great book. I couldn’t put this baby down. I love the history between Elena and Lennox and no matter what Lennox did, she always saw the best in him. I’m mean come on, for a criminal he’s a flippin saint.

I think Ms Cole did a great job with her first book. She kept me entertained from start to finish and had me wanting more from the Drazic “Crew”. I hope we see more from these lovely guys. So many stories to be told. I want to know them all on an intimate level. Cyrus just seems like an old soul who would love deeply, Jagger who is the obvious playboy, and what about Nash? Does he get a HEA? What about Uncle D? I have this picture of this Hot older gearhead in my mind, and I would jump for joy to read his story. Has he ever been in love? So many questions???

Needless to say Dallas Cole has acquired a stalker…er I mean fan. Yeah I meant fan. LOL! I look forward to reading more from her. I believe she is going to be an up and coming author and ya’ll should be on the lookout for her. She is going to do amazing things with her career.

Bought by the Billionaire: The Complete Series by Lili Valente

Lili Valente kept me entertained from the very first page. You will not be able to put this jewel down!

I want! No wait that's not quite the right word I'm looking for. I NEED, DESIRE, CRAVE, and WOULD KILL to have a man  like Jackson Hawke. I am completely and utterly jealous of Hannah.

This is a quick series to read and once you start you will not want to stop. If you are the least bit curious about the the Dark Romance genre, then look no further, this series is a great way to start you out. It has just a enough of a dark edge to keep you satisfied with out taking you too far into the genre.  It also stays in the Contemporary Romance genre as it has a bad boy falling for the good girl.

While this wasn't my first taste of Dark Romance, I can honestly say I will be recommending it to all of my friends. I look forward to continuing these books and seeing what happens to Hannah's twin Harley. I have a feeling her story is going to keep me guessing more than Hannah and Jackson's did.
