Nikki runs, and Pipe ignores the way his body begs for him to chase her. While Nikki thinks Pipe can’t give her what she needs, Pipe is worried Nikki is going to rock his world and never leave it the same.
Ah finally the second book in the Fallen Lords MC, and just like the first book, this one was all that and then some. Pipe really came through in his quest to find Nikki, it was apparent that they both had feelings for each other, but Pipe being a man/idiot he didn't know how to convey those feelings. So in true idiot form, he pushes the one good thing aways. And Nikki is heartbroken, so when she runs, she runs. Straight up moves away because of the idiot.
Well, long story short, Pipe finds Nikki and he has to win her heart back. But what Pipe doesn't know, is that he always had it. The chemistry between Nikki and Pipe was explosive, and the banter between them kept me thoroughly entertained.
While this is the second book in the series, you don't need to read the first book. I do recommend that you do read it, just so you can get the full effect from the Fallen Lords.
Winter Travers is a devoted wife, mother, and aunt turned author who was born and raised in Wisconsin. After a brief stint in South Carolina following her heart to chase the man who is now her hubby, they retreated back up North to the changing seasons, and the place they now call home.
