Kason and Adaline.
From the moment they met, they started to fall. Neither of them predicted just how far the drop would be, though.
Loving Adaline was all Kason had ever wanted to do. But layer by layer, he started to unravel, forcing Adaline to face an addiction she never could’ve imagined.
This is what happens when one person loves beyond the craving and the other craves beyond the loving.
This book is not what I expected for E.K. Blair at all. Her books always keep me on edge and this book didn't do that so much. However, to see a different type of addiction was amazing. This is not your typical romance, but it has two different people from two very different ways of life finding love and overcoming obstacles. Kason and Adaline were destined to be together, but they are both very broken. Kason suffers from a severe addiction and Adaline has issues of not feeling loved. This was a very sad story that will leave you feeling empty, but hopeful for a positive outcome in the end. This book does end on a cliffhanger, and you will want to throw your Kindle, as poor Adaline ends up in a very bad situation.
*Warning* you will cry reading this book! But I mean seriously, have you ever read an E.K. book and not shed a tear?
