This is the first book I have read by Prescott Lane that I DIDN'T cry through. It was close in the beginning, but I made it through it with dry eyes.
This is also the first book that I have read in its entirety of an older women/younger man romance (Sorry Ms. Lane, I like my men older and more experienced).
Another first for me is that this book involved a divorce.
Lastly, this is the first book involving an interracial couple I have read (Sorry again just not my cup of tea).

All of which Ms. Lane did a wonderful job of combining all of these aspects into one book. As I said I am not a big fan of younger men/older women romances, but this book didn't weigh heavily on it like most do (I was a bit scared to read this because of the age difference). I was happy that I did read this book (I would have anyway since HELLO, its a Prescott Lane book). The characters were well developed, the emotions that were portrayed in all of the secondary characters was phenomena, and I didn't cry.

All in a great book for Prescott Lane. She is by far one of my favorite authors.
