If you have read this series then you have met Josh Marx in Ricochet as he was vying for Rachel's attention. But as you all know he didn't win that battle.
Now Josh is back, and he is not the total dickhead that he was in Ricochet. Amazingly he is the complete opposite, but that is only because the love of his life Grace is back in his like.
While this book was short, Skye Jordan did a flawless job of writing two very unique characters. Both of them had baggage out the door, but as always love conquers all. Ms. Jordan was able to perceive both Grace and Josh's true personalities, the love that they had for each other, and the love Josh has for Grace's ex-husband Isaac who also happened to be Josh's former SEAL teammate.
I was very happy to see Josh find someone in this book. Why he was a jerk in the previous book, I felt he need his story told. Now that being said, I would love to see Isaac get a book. He has so much love for Grace even though he was a self-centered ass. I think he deserves a woman who won't put up with his antics and put the poor man in place.
So I have heard this whole series on Audible, and this book as well. Piper Goodeve is a talented narrator. Her ability to have a female and male voice is uncanny. Truly a dream team between Skye Jordan and Piper Goodeve
