Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott

ARC provided by publisher via NetGalley for honest review.

This is the first book I have read by Kylie Scott, and I was very impressed with her writing. There were a few times during this book that I found myself losing interest, but then I would just power through it and it was well worth it.

This book starts out with a run-a-way bride hiding in a bathtub. Yes you read that right. She hides in the bathtub ya'll! Lydia has ran from her wedding after finding her soon to be groom in a compromising position with his best man (can ya blame her for running). She jumps the fence behind her home and sees an open window.

Vaughn hasn't been home in a long time, and the house brings back painful memories. Little did he know he would stumble upon a bride hiding in he shower. The same shower he just started. Now Lydia is wet and doesn't know how to not scare the shower owner. Needless to say she comes face to face with his manhood.

The story just gets better from there. Lydia ends up punching her now ex in the nose, her crap gets thrown over the fence, she basically moves in with Vaughn, falls in love with him, and then he rips her heart out.

I really liked the premise of this book, it was sweet and romantic without trying to be. I am looking forward to seeing this where this series goes, especially with Nell, Eric and Pat. That is going to be interesting all on its own. It is going to be a long wait until November 22nd. The next book Twist comes out and I really hope it is about Nell. I MUST know what happens to her.
