So I started reading this book, and then I couldn't get enough of it so I upgraded it to the audible version because driving to work and actually working were cutting into my reading time (snorts... that damn pesky thing called a job...pft). I'm incredibly glad that I did upgrade to the audible version.
I thought that this book was hilarious reading, it is 10 times better when Muffy Newtown is reading the book. This chick cracked me up, and I would just bust out laughing. I'm fairly certain that anyone sitting by me (whether I was at work or on my front porch) thought I was a psycho.
Don't me started on Nathan Everett's voice. I have been around Canadians before and I have never found the accent appealing. That is until this book! The dirty words that came out of Alex Water's mouth. Holy hell!
This book was one of the funniest book I have read in a while. Helena Hunting's witty writing reminds me of Alice Clayton's Cocktail series. The characters Alex and Violet remind me a lot of Simon and Caroline. These two are made for each other, and I'm glad they got their HEA's.
Now to see what Buck gets. I think Sunny is going to give him a run for his money, and I can only hope he gets sucker punched by Alex.
Panty Melting Factor: 5 Panties and then some! Locker room scene....Need I say more.
