Irrevocable (Irrevocable #1) by Skye Callahan

Audible version provided by Audiobook Blast in exchange for honest review.

This is the first book I have read/listened to by Skye Callahan, and I flippin loved it. I loved the whole idea about the book. This is one of those books, that just sucks me into the dark romance genre.

This story is twisted, dark and erotic as hell. Kirk/James is a bad man, but he couldn't let his colleagues torture and rape a woman they had kidnapped so he said he would train her to be a slave. Silver/Rose has no clue what has happened, all she knows is she is in trouble and no one is going to save her. The life she knew is gone, and now she belongs to Kirk.

I haven't had the pleasure of listening to Sierra Kline, while she did a great job reading the story, I didn't particularly care for her portrayal of Silvers thoughts. Her voice would go in and out as she was portraying Silvers thoughts and feeling. It borderline grated on my nerves. I did like her voice, and I am willing to give another one of her books a chance.

Skye Callahan has definitely became a staple of dark romance authors for me. I look forward to reading more books from her.
