Jock: A Secret Baby Sports Romance by Aubrey Irons

 Another great book by Aubrey Irons. She is the absolute mastermind when it comes to sports romances. 

 Jock is hands down one of the best books I have read. Holden Cade is the epitome of the bad boy star quarterback. He had demons and he's drowning in them.  It isn't until he meets LJ Jacobs that he finds his light and purpose again.

 London (LJ) had one job and that is to recruit Holden Cade to her daddy's football team. What she didn't expect was to fall for this wild play boy, let alone end up carrying his child. 

 This was a very fast paced book. Both characters were well thought out and developed. I would have enjoyed getting more into Holden's demons. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Especially if you have not read one of Ms. Irons books before.

Prologue

Kenzi one day old
Toren fifteen years old

“We want you to be her Godfather,” Asher says as he gently lays his newborn baby into my arms. I have to tear my gaze away from her spellbinding eyes to look up at him from the chair I’m cradling the baby in.

“Me?” I repeat, glancing over at Ember in the hospital bed, who beams back at me with a tired, yet genuine smile.

“Yes, you,” they both say at the same time. “If it wasn’t for you, we probably never would have met,” Ember adds, grabbing Asher’s hand. “And we wouldn’t have this beautiful little baby. We know you’ll always protect her.”

“That’s right, man. You’re Uncle Tor now.”

I’m an uncle. And my two best friends are parents. And we’re all fuckin’ under sixteen.

But Kenzi Allyster Valentine would change us all forever. She needed us.

“Wow. I’m honored, guys. No doubt, I’ll always be here for her.”

Hunter (Campus Kings): A Football Secret Baby Novel (Campus Kings #1) by Celia Loren

 Apparently at some point I signed up for an ARC from Celia Loren. Boy am I glad that I did. 

 This book is hands down the best secret baby sports romance EVER!

 Hunter Phillips has stolen my book boyfriend heart. Talk about bad boy reformation! When this dude falls, he falls HARD!

 Britt is an amazing heroine. While I didn't necessarily agree with her reasoning for leaving Hunter, I was extremely happy that they were able to overcome the obstacles and enjoy their HEA!

 I highly recommend this book! However don't start it late at night, or you will be dragging your butt into work the next morning.

Stepdaddy Savage by Charleigh Rose



ARC provided in exchange for an honest review. 

 I don't know where to begin on the review. The blurb sucked me in, as did the first few pages, but once Dahlia called Graham Daddy, the book lost its appeal quickly.

 Don't get me wrong is a great step-dad romance, I just realized it's not the genre for me. 

 If you take out the daddy talk this book is Hot!

Savage by Kat Austen

 This is the second book I have read by Kat Austen, and holey moley does she do an amazing job writing this book. The plot line is way out there but the inner dirty girl would love to be marooned on an inhabited island with a hot man. I mean who wouldn't like that? 

 If you haven't read any books by Kate Austen, then you are missing out. If you need a quick dirty read, then this is your book.
